Wendy Carter Le Fol is an artist working in North Wales. She is a graduate in Fine Art from the University of Wales.
As an artist I am inspired by the natural world and agree with the poet Gerard Manley Hopkins that "the world is charged with the grandeur of God". I am drawn to the drama in nature: crashing seas, soaring mountains and the amazing beauty of deep space. I try to express this through line and colour. I am always experimenting and learning - hence the plunge into iPad "painting". Most often, I work in oil paints and a variety of hand printing methods to produce unique pieces. My work has been exhibited in Chester City Museum & Art Gallery (UK), Lessedra Gallery, Sofia and Brooklyn Art Library, New York.
